30K in the rain

Yesterday I has a great 30K run despite the heavy rain. I decided to run from the trail by my office rather than my usual trail so I ran down the Don river trail and along the waterfront trail past harbourfront all the way to the CNE and back.

It rained for a while while I was downtown but it wasn't until the last 5K that it really started coming down. I didn't notice how hard it was raining until I stopped. Luckily I had a towel in the car to stop me getting the seat soaked.

There were a tonne of runners on the trail on Sunday, many more than on a typical weekday. It was a good run, felt great all the way once my Achilles warmed up. It doesn't hurt too much today either.
