Marathon and Half Marathon training update

Well, we are now more than half way to our goals. While most of us are running in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Weekend, some are now changing their goals to aim for the Run for the Toad trail race in Paris, ON. Whatever each participants final race, everyone is doing extremely well and getting stronger every week.

The Tuesday night training sessions have all been well attended, it seems that no one wants to miss out on a workout and be struggling the following week. While this might be the thinking, it is definately not too big a deal to miss a week. You only miss out on the fun!

Looking Forward to the fall.

If you are interested in doing a fall training series for a middle distance race in the late fall, please let me know. The series would probably concentrate on Strength and conditioning rather than on high mileage training. I am currently looking to see if there is interest and to see if anyone has any suggestions as to what the goal (race) would be. Email me at Hit the road with Ken or leave a comment using the comments link.

omg - who are you guys? You must not be working hard enough at the moment to be this enthused about Fall training as you obviously are. Didn't I overhear Olof musing and aspiring about just getting to taper week in one piece? Sorry, Olof, buddy, you have my utmost respect.
