Weekend to end breast cancer

I received this e-mail from our good friend Jo Anne Bayes who is participating in the weekend to end Breast Cancer. I encourage you all to make a donation to this worthwhile cause...

To My Wonderful Friends......

As many of you may know I have taken on the challenge of participating in the WEEKEND TO END BREAST CANCER. This is a two-day, 60-kilometer walk through the neighborhoods of Toronto, taking place September 8-10, 2006.

As a condition of my participation, I must commit to raise at least $2,000 with all proceeds benefiting the Princess Margaret Hospital. Proceeds will be funding important breast cancer research, education, services and care.

Please help make a difference by making a donation. You can make a donation on line at http://www.endcancer.ca/ or if you wish to make a donation but not on line you can print out the donation form and mail it to Princess Margaret Hospital. A $10 donation will receive a tax receipt. All your donations bring me closer to my goal.

Yes it's going to be a long walk, longer than any distance I've ever run in a weekend. But I'm determined with a little help from you my friends to make difference. The aches, pains and blisters will be worth it if it helps to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
