Details, details, details

So many things to do before the big race on Sunday and so little time.

Did the Beginner clinic last night and they went about 2K. Everyone seems to be doing OK with the program but a few people missed it last night due to the change of day this week.

Went straight from the beginner clinic to the last night of the Marathon clinic and just made it in time but as there was no specific topic and no run only half a dozen people showed up. Everyone is resting for the big day.

Orgainized and e-mailed everyone about the post race party at the Blue Cactus on Sunday. Can't wait.

Time to rest

Well another 10K done. I ran to Yonge and back which is all hills. Now it's rest time. No more serious runs until the Ottawa marathon on Sunday. Tomorrow I have the beginners clinic and marathon clinic to do back to back but nothing more than a couple of K at most.

Interestingly there were flyers in the cafeteria today advertising the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon.

Need to do the beginner clinic e-mail and the final T-shirt tonight and then think about the post-marathon party!

The Start Line

Well, here we go, my first post.

Ran an easy 6K at lunch today and for some reason my Garmin dropped 750m from the total distance. Oh well, I know I did 6K and pretty fast too.

Only one more run before my next marathon on Sunday in Ottawa and there are no aches or pains so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
