Saturday our very own Richard will be running in the first (and probably last) Speedo run through the streets of downtown Toronto. Feel free to head down there and 'support' him. All the proceeds for this event go to the Hospital for Sick Children. I hear they will be doing jumping jacks as a warm up!
Sunday is the Snowflake run at Rotary Park in Ajax. It's still not too late to enter, the race entry is an new unwrapped toy for a child or teen. Also there is a potluck afterwards. It promises to be a fun morning and the toys will go to less fortunate kids for Christmas. Registration is at 9, the race is at 10. Potluck is at 11.
Both are very worthwhile causes which warrant your support so go out, have some fun and actually feel good about it the next day!
